Like you, B's Tees has its own unique story. Our humble beginnings sprang from a fun tie dye project at my daughter's 13th birthday party. We found something we really enjoyed doing together and we continued to experiment and learn about the art of tie dye.
I eventually started researching dyes and fabrics and began to experiment with different types and brands. We kept trying new designs and voile! our creations began to get noticed when we wore them in public. People would actually stop us and ask where we got our shirts. It finally occurred to us that we were onto something. I decided to take the plunge and turn a hobby into a business. B's Tees was born. My daughter came up with the name and I designed the logo.
My goals are simple: Provide my clients with a comfortable, great looking tie dye product, at a good price along with excellent service. Most of my tie dye work is custom work which allows customers a lot of input in the creative process. You're one of a kind, why shouldn't your clothing be?
At B's Tees, we begin with 100% natural fiber garments, such as cotton or rayon. Comfort is key for us but we personally test each item for wearability and shrinkage as well. If it doesn't meet our standards we won't sell it to you. You can purchase our clothing knowing it will last a long time with proper care.
We use a variety of dye processes...tie dye, various shibori techniques and low water immersion. Depending on the technique, at some point in the process we raise the Ph level to gain maximum color absorption. This ensures your garment will maintain the brilliant colors that the Procion MX dyes provide. Some techniques involve tying, some wrapping, some dye baths...the tricks are endless. Very often, we combine techniques in multiple steps.
After the dying process we wash and rinse the clothing in a special detergent (Synthropol) designed to keep dyes from muddying the garments. When you purchase one of our garments, your reds and blues won't seep into your yellows making them dull and dingy. Most importantly, they won't ruin your other laundry.
We recommend that you wash your shirt prior to wearing it, on the off chance that you may be sensitive to our detergents. Although we rinse several times, there's always the possibility that some of our detergent is still in the shirt.

We recommend washing cotton clothing in your washer along with like colors and air drying them. Rayon clothing should be gently hand washed and air dryed. Be especially careful with rayon while it is wet, it tears easily. Do not bleach any of our products.
